Sant Ram Udasi (Punjabi:ਸੰਤ ਰਾਮ ਉਦਾਸੀ) (20 April 1939 – 11 August 1986) was born on April 20, 1939 in a Mazhabi Sikh landless labour family. He was one of the major Punjabi poets emerging out of the Naxalite Movement〔(Insurrection to Agitation: The Naxalite Movement in Punjab By Paramjit S. Judge, page -154 )〕 in the Indian Punjab towards the late 1960s, writing about revolutionary and Dalit consciousness.
